Fher Olvera is a Mexican rock musician, singer, and songwriter. He is the lead singer of rock band Maná. The band Maná are from Guadalajara, Jalisco. They have sold more than 25 million albums worldwide. Juan Calleros is also a member of the band. He is also known as Fher and Fernando Olvera.

He is the son of Rosario Sierra Machorro and Fernando Emilio Olvera y Barroso.

Fher’s patrilineal line can be traced back to his third great-grandfather, José María Olvera.

Fher’s paternal grandfather was José Eusebio Carlos Olvera Basave (the son of José Alejandro Olvera Rodríguez and María de la Concepción Ambrosia Olalla Basave Ríos). Carlos was born in Ozumba, State of Mexico. Alejandro was the son of José Nicanor Vicente Olvera Arrieta and María Vicenta Rodríguez Ordaz. Concepción was the daughter of a Spanish emigrant, Pedro Basabe/Basave Ugarte, from Laudio/Llodio, Álava, and of Juana Ríos Ramírez.

Fher’s paternal grandmother was María Lucila de la Preciosa Sangre Barroso Cora (the daughter of Samuel María Francisco de Paula Victorio Barroso Barrientos and Margarita Cora Sayas). Lucila was born in Chalco de Díaz Covarrubias, State of Mexico. Samuel was the son of José Carlos Guillermo Miguel González Barroso y Cacho and María Ignacia Francisca de Paula Eulalia Barrientos Villalobos. Margarita was the daughter of José María Cora y Ramos and María de la Luz Inocencia Sayas y Rodríguez.

Fher’s maternal grandfather was Ramón Sierra Romano (the son of Ramón Sierra and Rosario Romano). Fher’s grandfather Ramón was born in Llanes, Asturias, Spain.

Fher’s maternal grandmother was Catalina Machorro Olivares (the daughter of José Antonio Machorro Gárate and Catalina de los Dolores Micaela Olivares Silva). Fher’s grandmother Catalina was born in Puebla, Puebla. Antonio was the son of José Julio de los Dolores Machorro Velis and María Soledad Gárate Garea. Fher’s great-grandmother Catalina was the daughter of Isidoro Olivares Tovar and Josefa Silva Galván.
